How to check an AI summary against your PDF
A fluent summary can hide a misread value or a missing qualification. Use it to navigate the course, then test its claims against the PDF.
1. Find the source passage
Pick each important claim and find the matching passage. If the document does not clearly support it, mark it as uncertain. Pay special attention to definitions, exceptions and conclusions drawn from evidence.
2. Recalculate numbers and units
In a scientific exercise, copy the inputs before calculating: 27 °C is about 300 K, whereas 270 °C is about 543 K. This changes the result. Check work sign conventions, units and exponents in formulas too.
3. Turn checking into practice
Correct the summary in your own words and create a question for every uncertain point. In a quiz, explain why the correct answer works and the others do not. Keep the original PDF beside you when a value remains ambiguous.
